Benvenuti was opened by Vito and Maria Angrisani in 1980. It is one of the oldest, genuine Italian restaurants in Manchester, run by a true Italian family. Traditional Italian recipes are still used.

Benvenuti is on its third generation of family workers and is serving its fourth generation of customers.

As one customer said:
"It's like being in Sorrento; where you can find a little Benvenuti on every corner."

"We enjoy going here as we feel we are still on our holidays. Friendly and fast but relaxed."

"This place has to be my number one, its just around the corner from where I grew up and it is like a little bit of Italy in The Grove. This is restaurant run by an Italian family - no fake accents here. There is loads of Italian football memorabilia on the walls and of course, most importantly, the food is superb authentic Italian cooking. The pasta is amazing, easily my favourite restaurant."
